The oak

The oak is standing in the heart of Europe, in a region called 'Bavaria'. The tree is at least 150 years old. It's not easy to determine the real age of an oak until it's chopped down. My intention is to see him alive like thousands and million people before me.

The oak is older than any person in the world, was planted long before the two world wars, years before the civil war in US, before people know something about planes, cars or other technical stuff. Another landscape gardener said the oak could be 200 years old. This means the oak was planted in the time of Napoleon Bonaparte, Goethe, Mozart, Beethoven, many great scientists and other personalities. Abraham Lincoln was born to this time.
